Investigation on the Effect of Blood Contamination of Calcium Silicate-Based Pulp Capping Materials Hardened at Different Times on Shear Bond Strength

Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine the effect different hardening times and blood contamination MTA Biodentine, which are widely used for pulp capping treatments in market, on shear bond strength (SBS) with a self-etch adhesive resin, after (24, 48, 72 96 hours). Materials Methods: Slots diameter 5 mm height 2 were prepared 192 acrylic blocks study. Both ProRoot Biodentine according manufacturer’s instructions, half slots filled other Biodentine. All samples divided into groups depending four hardened. After process completed, group each time subgroups (n:12) without contamination. In uncontaminated groups, resin (Clearfil Liner Bond) resin-based composite (Filtek P60) applied polymerized. contaminated sample surfaces 20 seconds. washing drying samples, them. that SBS tests performed data subjected 2-way ANOVA test analysis.
